Girls ßÙÁ¨´«Ã½ Registration
The American Legion Auxiliary Girls ßÙÁ¨´«Ã½ Program begins today as the participants register at Griffis Hall. Girls ßÙÁ¨´«Ã½ has provided high school juniors across the United ßÙÁ¨´«Ã½s the opportunity to participate in a hands-on citizenship training program for more than 60 years. This week these young ladies from Mississippi will learn about government by creating a fictional state through the election of public officials on local, county, and state levels and then carrying out the duties of these respective offices.
